THE KIND – S/T(1982, Three-Sixty Records) 시카고 파워팝 밴드 The Kind의 데뷔앨범. 시카고 로컬 라디오 방송 WXRT FM, WLS AM 등을 통해 소개되면서 시카고 지역에서는 1980년대 초반에 꽤 인기를 얻었다고 한다. 1984년 Duran Duran의 Sing Blue Silver US 투어 시카고 공연에 오프닝 밴드로 출연한 바 있다.
